I was looking for a "weathered gray" and I think I must have clicked the wrong color. The one I thought I ordered was gray and the metal part was black. This came and it is more bluish and the metal is more silver than black. I use it on a farmers porch to organize boots so the color is not critical. It is very functional and sturdy. It holds at least 8 pair of tall boots on the shelves and then another 4 underneath. Overall am very happy with the item for the price.

The extra tall shoe rack is sturdy and well made. I appreciated being able to have a custom width of 22" made for the tight space we have for it. The height between the shelves is more than enough for hiking boots, as well as my snow boots which are about 10" high. I might paint the wooden panels, which don't have the most interesting grain. All in all, we like the shoe rack and we're glad not to have a row of shoes on the floor in the entry way anymore!
