I was looking for a "weathered gray" and I think I must have clicked the wrong color. The one I thought I ordered was gray and the metal part was black. This came and it is more bluish and the metal is more silver than black. I use it on a farmers porch to organize boots so the color is not critical. It is very functional and sturdy. It holds at least 8 pair of tall boots on the shelves and then another 4 underneath. Overall am very happy with the item for the price.

Perfect and strong as a boot rack

The extra tall shoe rack is sturdy and well made. I appreciated being able to have a custom width of 22" made for the tight space we have for it. The height between the shelves is more than enough for hiking boots, as well as my snow boots which are about 10" high. I might paint the wooden panels, which don't have the most interesting grain. All in all, we like the shoe rack and we're glad not to have a row of shoes on the floor in the entry way anymore!

I like the industrial style, and the tall boot height is great because I'm using it for a bookcase, but the price is way too high for the quality. These are very inexpensive boards, stained in a somewhat haphazard way - there are 8 pieces of wood total, and they don't all sit flush against one another. Etsy won't allow photo uploads on anything but a 5 star review, so I can't show some of the obvious alignment problems. One leg could not be screwed down tight, no matter what I tried, so I had to just rest the top cap in place because there wasn't enough thread showing to tighten it in place. Packaging great, shipped on time.
